About Us
Born in Athens, Greece….George moved to southern Germany in the 60’s to work in the family business where he learned every aspect of the hotel and catering industry. With their proximity to the French border this gave George the opportunity to work and gain experience in the French and world renowned Alsace kitchens.
He returned to Greece in the late 70’s to manage and operate a hotel and entertainment complex providing him with extensive experience in event coordination.
With his knowledge of European cuisine and culinary skills he came to Boston in the late 80’s. For ten years he enjoyed the warm atmosphere of the 57 Park Plaza where he operated as food and beverage director and for the next five years at the upscale Regal Bostonian hotel.
Currently George owns and operates the Highand Luncheonette on Robeson St, Fall River. Exclusive Buffet Catering is an extension of his already renowned reputation for scrumptious food using the freshest ingredients, excellent service, presentation and variety. Exclusive Buffet Catering has formed an association with The Elks Lodge; N.Main St, Fall River offering function halls to accommodate parties of up to 225, 150 and 70 making this the perfect venue for any occasion.
